What's the process once the bike is converted? Inspection, insurance,
license plate? Can I get it inspected before insuring it? Do I convert the
title from off-road to street? Blah blah blah.

Anyone?

Thanks in advance

I did it in 1996 to my XR400. It's simple. I had to have it
inspected as being road legal before they would grant me a new title.
Insurance is needed to get the plate.

Hey Bentley,
Good to hear from you. I know Jeff. He hosts several web sites I
administer. I'll give him a jingle. I also found a Texas DS group
with a lot of info.

Thanks!
