Also C200, a "proper" bike.
The pushrod engines (not CX500!) didn't have an oil pump, unusual for a
four stroke. Conventional oil systems pump oil through the crankshaft
towards the big end bearing. Mr Honda's engineers cunningly arranged for
oil flow in the opposite direction - scooped up by extension on conrod,
and forced into the crankshaft to lubricate other parts.

My last 4 bikes have been pushrod engined. Is there something wrong with
that?

Many, many do big miles on DR650

Adding a IMS 19 litre or Safari 34 litre tank is pretty standard
as is adding a Corbin seat.

DL650 are a great road bike and while many take them offroad they are
still a great road bike Smile

In particular note DR650SE dry weight 147kg and DL650 dry weight 194kg
This is not only an issue picking up the bike but effects its handling
on loose surfaces.
