Missus watched 'House' tonight without me [helping elder son
with calculus], says I missed Hugh Laurie having a go on a red
Aprilia (model unknown). Fairly sure the line 'piss off Mister'
was not in the script, though.

Not seen that one.

Was it the episode where someone comes in with an interesting but fully
explainable set of symptoms, they administer the usual treatment which
initially appears to work, but then it all goes stunningly wrong with
the patient lapsing into a coma and coming out all over in boils?

So they do a blood test looking for space dust but miraculously find
traces of sub-aquatic treetop pollen?

Then they stop the initial treatment and start treating for sub-aquatic
treetop pollen even though the patient has no history of under water
tree climbing, and again there is a marked improvement followed by
another coma and a full shutdown of at least 2 internal organs?

So with the patient having minutes to live, House confronts the ever
faithful spouse of the patient and confronts them with the truth that
the only other option is that they have given them and STD, and STD that
can only be caught be being spit-roast by the seven dwarves (not all at
the same time obviously) whilst Snow White looks on and they are forced
to admit it so the right treatment can be administered?

The patient lives, the world is a happier place and House is somewhat
smug about the whole thing?

Dunno, <whoosh> as I said, I missed it. Sounds strangely familiar though,
even though this was a first run episode...

I'm hoping to see the upcoming episode with Stephen Fry as guest star,
which should be good.

Do I detect a small hint of sarcasm there?
