After exhaustive research, I have the answer for you.
Steel toes are great for protecting from something dropped on your foot.
Motorcycle accidents more often involve bending forces. If you bend the toe
of the boot backwards (as I've done before), the upper edge of the steel toe
cup will come back over & sever your toes.

Should be a way to engineer around that? They protect from the front
too like when you kick something... |

| Related Topics: | Hello from Wudi - Had a great ride today. Weather was perfect. Trails were in great shape. Lots of water puddles here and there, just enough to make things interesting. Jim got to the motel about 5am and we woke him up by 7:30. That was a sight. He led 2 loops today. 40..
Got a WUDI - Have everything packed and sitting in the middle of the garage, got the truck and trailer ready to go, and all systems check green for a 5:30 AM start tomorrow. Weather.com for Hot Springs doesn't look so...er...hot. High of 31 and freezing rain for..
Wudi 6 website - Here's the Wudi webpage. Sorry it took so long. Jim is still working on hotel information but I decided to go ahead and get the webpage link out anyway. I did not include the hotel information at this point. I haven't started working too hard on..
Wudi carpool? - I need to go to Wudi. I'm in North East, MD. I'd hate to make the drive alone. Anybody in my general area want to 'carpool'? Craig
Wudi 6 camping - So I plan to be camping at Wudi 6. What facilities (if any) are available at the campsite? I don't mind roughing it, I just wanna know what I'm gonna need to bring and whether I need to make a purchase at www.bumperdumper.com. Craig |
