Well hell, a lot of people are lesser riders than those guys. And
as for me, you're at least as fast as I am. And hey, we had the two
worst bikes there! <g>

The finger shows almost no sign of ever having been injured. The
knuckle's just slightly larger than before (calcium build-up no
doubt), but otherwise it looks fine and works great.

Number ending 7931? Sounds like a plan. Looks like this will be a Tuesday
am-Thursday late afternoon week, so maybe Wed night? I'll give you a shout

No, its a full-time ride until this fall year when it depreciates out then
we'll upgrade. On the bright side, I'm getting 32mpg and have 0 vehicle
expenses.

Brakes won't bleed - I recently picked up a 89 KDX 200 for my daughter and have been doing some of the neglected maintenance. I am stumped at the moment with the front brake. I can bleed the brake and and have a firm lever at one moment and after letting the bike sit then..

Dirt in brakes? - After a very muddy riding day, when pushing myy bike in neutral into the garage the wheel seems to be making sound, that Im pretty sure was not there previously. Sounds like sand or dried mud possbily in the brakes. Either that or the pads themselves..

Bleeding KTM rear brakes? - Hi All, On my last ride, I felt my rear brakes getting spongy. I figured I'd just flush the fluid an be good as new. Wrong! Now the pedal hits initial resistance but then proceeds to competely bottom out. I did the pump and bleed thing for 30 minutes and...

XR double leading edge brakes - Had an interesting conversation with a guy in the weekend about drum brakes on older XR's. He mentioned that some of them at some point had double leading edge drums on the front. Any idea about which years this would be and if I could drop one ..

"slightly" used gear oil color ? - Hi all, I just drained the oil on my '99 YZ250. I replaced it about 4 weekends ago (Golden Spectro W80) so it has maybe 8-12 hours of riding at the local MX tracks. What color should I expect the oil to be ? I was surprised to see how dark greyish it..
