Anyone been down the Dick Turpin of late?

Last year it was good for a burger and a coke, but I heard that it was
infested with police in recent weeks.

I'm going to the local Guzzi meet (Green Man, Ringmer Nr. Lewes), to see
what swapsies I can get.

Hopefully I can swapsie my working and clean P8 2 pot Brembo callipers
for money. Any ideas how much they're worth?

Oh fuck that sounds stupid.

What I meant was it used to be quite good fun, not that burger and cola are
banned substances, although if they were I might be a bit thinner.

I'll be there for around 8pm.

Doesn't really answer your question though does it?

It varies, mainly depending on how much of the
monthly petrol allowance they've already spent.

I've been there before and haven't seen a single
polis at all, but on other occasions we passed
3 marked cars, one unmarked (with full disco
lights in action), two mobile speedtraps and got
buzzed by the 'copter twice.

Went past it last week and did not see one, but having spoken to a
couple of people[1] that see the other side of the coin, I doubt if
this will last.

[1] the scrape em up squad and the find out what went wrong mob[2],
and yes they also own and use bikes.

[2] They have been very busy lately.

Well there wasn't a very big Police presence last night just a few driving
up and down then later parking up opposite the pub with a radar gun. As
usual their presence was solely restricted to the stretch of the A127
between the A132 and the A130 so you stood virtually nil chance of being
done anywhere else in the area.

The police were going up and down the A127 and were parked up across the
road when i left at about 10pm.

You may be suprised at this but I would say it was a bit quiet considering
the time of year. I put it down to Euro 2004.

Probably even fewer with UKRM stickers on their mudflaps.
