It's been a month now...

I'm off the crutches, still a bit of a gimpy walk. Sometimes it's
better than others, sitting still hurts my "butt bone" sometimes.
Straight up and down weight bearing seems to be pretty good as does
front/back motion, it's the "swing leg to outside" that is still
fairly painful. I'd be good to go for a ride if I didn't have to use
my left leg for anything other than standing and shifting...

BTW, the chopper ride cost about the same as an OTD retail price for a
new KTM200, haven't heard what the ER charges are yet.

Thanks for asking, hope your shoulder is something simple and quick to
heal

I forgot to add:

If I don't get into riding shape soon, I fear Murray is going to file
for divorce. He's already dating Dano on a regular basis. Men are such
pigs...

You should try a trials bike (except for the part about jumping
ditches) you can swing your leg "through" like a girls' bike.

Also you just select a gear and go, don't have to bother with shifting
really...It's like a big play-scooter, low to the ground too.

Yikes! My one ambulance ride was a stiffie, and then AMR (American
Medical Response, the cab drivers) started sending letters threatening
for collection and/or bad notes on my credit-report.

I had to get on my insurance to cut the damn check and make payment to
get them vipers off my back.

Get well soon!

I'm going over to the Hospital today, to visit a friend who had
double-knee replacements. That must be a bitch.

Yes, in fact. I was going to take the aftenoon off, but it's raining
and 30 degrees. Screw it.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
