I followed the excellent advice from you lot out there and last
weekend bought a pair of Daytona Roadstars GTX. Came home in some
bloody awful wet, it came straight at me horizontally and then jumped
up off the motorway just to make sure, but my feet stayed dry, these
boots are in old Essex - WELL GOOD.

I was also told to buy them from Flitwick cos the man was really nice
- again excellent advice. Had a really enjoyable ride even if it was
the M25 and M1, as soon as I got there he put the kettle on, and
clearly knows what he is talking about and doesn't try to con you, a
better shop is hard to imagine. As suggested I said the magic words
associated with UKRM and won the prize.

Thank you folks for such outstanding advice. I have warm dry feet and
a happy smile.

Brian

do/ - duh!

that's just the Bedfordshire massive, rather than ukrmers in general,
surely...

And that is why every ukrmer is a clone of every other - riding a
litre-engined sports UJM, dressed in black leather which smells
strongly of wee and faintly of beeswax, wearing HG Pathan Lobsters and
Daytona GTX boots and a Uvex double-glazed lid ...
