Drinks on me this afternoon, as I look out at the snow falling outside my
window. I'mm have to remember to watch that corner on the way home today if
the streets aren't clear.
Anyway, in December the right hand of my Gerbing G3's stopped working, no
more heat to my fingers on those chilly mornings. I ended up sending them
for warranty repair (lifetime on the heating elements) in January and today
I picked a package up at the post office. Apparently there was something
wrong with the glove 'cause in the package was a brandy new pair of gloves.
Even better, they came with the battery terminal connector, which I didn't
bother to disconnect in order to send back to them for the repair (yes, I
made sure it wasn't the problem before sending the gloves), so now I've got
an extra one. Considering my gloves had to go to the US and then back
across the border again I'm very happy with the turn around. I had to pay
tax (duty) on the gloves at the post office, but the tax form comes with a
place to fill it out if I want to try and get that money back, and since I
already paid my taxes for the gloves the first time, I'll be sending that
form in.
So there you go, Gerbing's warranty, two thumbs up.

You might end up with mine one of these days. <g> I tried on the new pair
and went to clench my fist and I could feel the wire digging into the back
of my hand, not comfortable at all. Then I quickly realized that, seeing as
I didn't have them plugged in, the pigtail for the glove was inside the
glove. It was the plug at the end of the pig tail that I was feeling.
D'Oh!

Could happen. How will I know, will they flip someone off when I put
'em on, or wave?

They won't do anything because it's a hassle to pull them back out of the
handlebar muffs in order to flip off/wave and then get them back in.

Yep. They're good folks. And if you're not the standard Abercrombie
model shaped person, they'll bend over backwards to fit you properly.
