I was thinking of robot wars, but I was woken up by my 9 month old. She
dribbled too.
I guess I better start warming up the cliché machine.....

The cleaning the shower and spa etc was very nice....
The wandering around the house with his knob out has left me a permanently
damaged man......

Ummm....I've just checked my "Sent" folder and it wasn't me who said that. So much for "The fact of
the matter....". :-/
The closest to that I could find from me was in reply to one of John Littler's
posts..................
-------------------------
Jase's words......
"its seems Joe from underdog doesn't like people disagreeing with him
about promotion of a business in a newsgroup that normally discourages
it."
The first post from jase could be seen as a jest. But the above followup comment shows jase to be a
tad more serious than you had assumed John. :-/
--------------------------
Oh and Clem, you still haven't replied to me with what you consider to be the qualities you
associate with being a motorcyclist.

1)
Yes you're absolutely correct; I apologise.
It was Marko who had said that.
(Your's was the first reply to my post [and kinda' directly answered me]
and I must've assumed I'd been talking to you.)
2)
I thought your question was just petty and stupid and I considered a
smartarsed "I'm not surprised you don't recognise the qualities, Dale" but
I chose to just ignore it instead.
Since you insist though;
I believe a motorcyclist must LOVE riding and feel ashamed to travel by any
other means.
I believe a motorcyclist must LOVE motorcycles and feel pain at the thought
of hurting one.
I believe a motorcyclist should be entirely honest, transparent, respectful
and trustworthy around other motorcyclists and their property.
I believe a motorcyclist should be tough; accept or discard criticism (but
not reject it) and always admit when they've made a mistake and try to make
amends.
and
I believe a motorcyclist should be THAT wrapped up in motorcycling that he
doesn't give a rat's arse what anybody else thinks of him.
Happy?

Well since my opinions have now become the word-of-god I may as well do
some genuine good;
I believe that Ham and Pineapple pizza should immediately be outlawed and
all other fruit/meat combinations be subjected to review.
I believe that VB should be removed from all Qld bars and only sold in the
bottle-shop to over-thirty-year-olds who can prove they're bona-fide
Victorian Tourists.
I believe that Bourbon should be removed from ALL bars and only sold in the
bottle-shop to over-thirty-year-olds who can prove they're bona-fide
American Tourists. (...and they must ask for "Bourbon". And requests that
include a brand-name or a trendy abbreviation of a brand-name shall be
immediately voided.)
I believe that all new bikes should be supplied with the option of
shaft-drive. (and recent sales should be recalled and retro-fitted)
I believe that Qld Raceway should be immediately torn up and that Lakeside
should be re-furbished to GP standard.... ( and Surfers' too)!
and I believe that wheelstanding through speed-cameras should be REWARDED
not punished! (Especially if there's 17yo girls watching)
