Talking of dissembling, does anyone know how those upside down forks
come apart? Specifically, how the stanchion comes out of the bit that
holds the calipers and wheel spindle. I presume that you loosen a
locking screw and then unscrew the stanchion but I've never tried it.

I've done it, but I had to follow the (genuine) book of words fairly
closely. I wouldn't recommend it without.
