Ok, as last year:

What's the ukrm tally?

I got a bottle of nice Argie white, a ditto of Chilean red, and a couple
of bottles of what looks like nice Aussie plonk.

Plus a travel alarm clock and the inevitable diaries. That's it, unless
something turns up between now and the 24th.

(Outgoing gifts comprised three bottles of wine, three boxes of liqueur
choccies, three chocolate bishops (don't ask), two bottles of champagne
and a bottle of over-proof rum, so I've got a debit balance, as it were)

A corporate hospitality policy that says you are not allowed to accept
any presents, invites to events or even have a meal purchased for you if
there could be even the slightest possibility that anyone could accuse
you of being unduly influenced as a result of having said meal bought
for you.

3 nice bottles of Red.
One bottle of whiskey.
About 10 boxes of chocolate (Mainly miniature heroes, celebrations and a few
boxes of Belgian)
Book on the history of motorcycles.
Golf balls
Socks
Pen
A really nice one was a book that I recommended to a pupil, he told me it
was out of print.
Then when I started reading it to the class, he opened up his own copy.

Corporate policy? Here? What for? Why would anybody try to curry
favour with academics?

Had a bit of food and some wine at the CMS party at Point 5 last
Wednesday evening. ...and some fun "guiding" the bus back to CERN with
my new handheld PGA/GPS. There's a School party Monday and a BITLab event
Tuesday. There endeth the Holiday Season.

  Bah. Humbug.
