CRF100 Rear Spring Revisited / Tuner / All

CRF100 Rear Shock Spring ? - Hey guys, I bought a BBR rear shock spring for the wife's CRF 100. How do I remove the spring from the shock so I can install the BBR ? This is on an 06 model. Any help greatly Tim PS She loves the l'il Honda bike.

Thanks, Tuner. Another question if I may, I replaced the fork springs with
BBR springs and now the front forks make a metallic clunk when hitting roots
in the trail. They seem to work well in the whoops (according to wife unit)
but the roots are "jarring". Can you tell me why / how to fix?

Spring rpeload is critical for the forks to work well. Not enough and
the forks drop more than they should. Too much and you get a harsh
ride over sharp edged bumps. Typically, I'd expect your/her 100 to
have about 10mm fork spring preload.

If the spring outer diameter isn't as large as the stock springs, they
may move around and make some noise.
