I tend to agree with your predictions for race results. Stoner is a
definite top step, and I'd pick one more Bridgestone on the podium.
Not sure if it'll be Capirex or Hopper. Again, if the tires hold up
til the end, I'd put Rossi on the podium, perhaps with a late race
battle between Hayden, Pedrosa, and a Bridgestone runner. Rossi tends
to have the consistent lap times and tire wear control to come into
the race later when the quick guys start falling off at the end. i.e.
Hopper.
I'll really be watching Hayden close. He has been about 1.0 - 1.5
seconds from the top of the time sheets in all the practice sessions
so far, but is showing some consistency. He was looking great until
Laguna. If the tires don't go too soon, I'd put him in the top five. I
heard Repsol has new parts, but I haven't been able to watch any more
videos from motogp.com. anyone know what parts they have and if they
are using them for the race or just to test afterwards??
