If you read the headers, Ralph and Russel are apparently posting from
the same computer.

I keep hearing this **headers** stuff, but I don't know what it is. I have a
headers tab in outlook express but it doesn't seem to do anything when
activated. Care to enlighten a computer dummy?

Yep. Dump Outlook (Depressed or otherwise) and get a decent news/mail

I went to the link and looked around. It claimed 275 lbs and a "solid"
suspension. Might be one of those bikes you can leave and walk away
from when it takes a shite on the trail. Just go back into town and
get another. If you have to pay extra and buy something of known
quality you only have to say "ouch" once.

Live the most magnificent world experience on two wheels. Go through
the most arid desert of the planet….
Travel with us to the most incredible, unique and amazing places. Get
to know millenary cultures, vestiges of native people that the science
still cannot explain…
Cross over mystic ghost towns and face the biggest solitude. Enormous
land extensions not even the insects have been able to inhabit…
Then, enjoy driving every day and under the most beautiful nights that
you can find all over the world. The cleanest skies chosen by the
world astronomy to install the most modern telescopes over the earth
surface. Delicious meals and beverages to recover energies in oasis
created by the hand of God in the middle of nothing…
All the above, combined with our great motorcycle passion, allow us to
enjoy without boundaries all the magnificence that the ATACAMA desert
can offer us. Its extensive plain territory and huge mountains
impossible to reach in other type of vehicle…
Join us in the ATACAMA Desert, CHILE.

This is a reply with your headers included. One of the keys is the
NNTP-Posting-Host.
You:
NNTP-Posting-Host: 24.61.148.141
Host name: h001095a579ce.ne.client2.attbi.com
Me:
NNTP-Posting-Host: 216.255.208.115
Host name: dsl-boise-115.icehouse.net
Russ/Ralph:
NNTP-Posting-Host: 204.17.63.41
Host name: dakota02.atmosnet.com
Ralph/Russ:
NNTP-Posting-Host: 204.17.63.41
Host name: dakota02.atmosnet.com
Additional info:

63.17.204.in-addr.arpa NS NS1.ACES.com

63.17.204.in-addr.arpa NS cloudcity.atmosnet.com
NS1.ACES.com A 192.195.240.1
All this really means is that Russ and Ralph have the same ISP, in
reality, we all know it's one person, spamming...
As far as I can tell, even if you post via google, your "posting host"
remains the same, linked to your ISP, not where you post from.

It's in SE Asia. For the most part, it's a Kawasuki rip off. Unless
the dealer is going to back it 100%, run, run like a turkey at Thanksgiving!

Thanks for the origin info, Stephen. "SE Asia" encompasses a lot
of societies (Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Laos,
Cambodia, Thailand, etc..), but none of those are places I'd want to
buy a bike from. Because, as you say, the "support" (or a lack
thereof) is the real problem. And if it ever reaches a point where
support isn't a problem anymore, then the prices will be higher to
reflect that (and competitive with Japanese offerings).

Yup.
I think it's made in China, but I'm not 100% sure. hence, SE Asia.
