I am so excited - I did my biggest solo ride ever this weekend! The L-plate
is starting to look a bit tattered, and I think I seriously need to look at
attempting my P-test again <shudder>.

I left Canberra on Friday morning and rode to Deniliquin. Lots of fog, a few
cows on the road (not in the same place as the fog, thank goodness!) and
even some emus!

Coming back home today the fog from Jerilderie to Lockhart was like
pea-soup, and I was a frightened little icicle by the time I got to
Lockhart - but got home in one piece early this arv.

Gawd I'm saddle-sore!!! Any tips, anybody? Or is experience the only true
bum-toughener? (erk, that sounds so disgusting!!!)

could you please refrain from mentioning the word Bugger in a thread
about saddle soreness... Johno is still recovering from his colonoscopy

BTW, if it hurts, you are doing it wrong

Once you've had a dead sheep, you'll never go back.
