Why can't you get a hammer head for an air hammer. All I can find is
chisels and more chisels, no hammers. I want to drive roll pins and
drive nails. Why do they call it an air 'hammer' if you can't hammer
with it?

A jack hammer is called a "pneumatic hammer".

Small pneumatic hammers are used for demolition because they can be easily
held in a horizontal position.

Sounds like a rivet gun might do what you want. It doesn't hit as hard as a
pneumatic hammer.

The hammer is inside the tool, it pounds on the chisel at a rapid rate.

Why do we drive on a parkway and park in a driveway?

Ever try to use a chisel without a hammer. What you refer to would be called
a driver. Like the chisel it would be hit with the hammer.

They actually make pneumatic nail drivers you hold in the palm of your hand.
Most recently saw one on Cool Tools. Brand name escapes me but they are made
by more than one company. Whoever makes an attachment for roll pins or
whatever can make up a name like pusher or possibly arbor. Might need to get
something like that made.

People get confused about blow jobs too. They think it's named wrong because
they are thinking about what the woman does.

Holy cow. I made a punch for my air hammer and that roll pin came out
like butter.
