Millions of riders who every year ride thousands of
miles each might disagree with that statement.

I take it you have the experience with motorcycling
to make this sort of judgement in the first place - right?

So you feel your above babbling is the best way to spend your time?
What I realize it translates to is "Don't piss on my parade man, I
don't wanna hear the truth..."

Simple reality aversion.

Bingo. Which is why we all think you're such an idiot. The reality is,
for people who learn how to do it, motorcycling is a relatively safe
endeavor. (Those statistics that make you think it's so dangerous are
skewed by the fact that most crashes happen to novices. For example,
I've ridden over 20 years and a few hundred thousand miles without
crashing.) OTOH, driving your own vehicle is more dangerous than
taking public transport. If you're so uptight about dangerous
behavior, you don't drive, do you? Or live in a dangerous place? Or
work in a dangerous profession? Of course, you wouldn't be that
hipocritical.

Your beliefs are so blissfully ignorant of reality as to be laughable.

You need a hobby. I mean, seriously, go and find something which takes up
your time so that you're productively contributing to at least your own
growth and development. Currently you're sitting around making an ass out
of yourself by not thinking through your statements very much before
posting them. We've seen your type before and we'll see them again,
you're not special and you have better things to do.

How about cars plain not seeing you? I bought my first motorcycle in
Syracuse NY. Departed the dealer's lot and went two blocks in the
right hand lane (2 lanes my direction). Red light. I stopped and
like all new riders, was 'blipping' the throttle waiting for the
green. Get green and proceed straight. Car that was in the lane to
my left _with his passenger side window OPEN, tries to make a right
turn. He wore a boot print in the passenger door. No, I didn't go
down. Mind you that we were both nosed up to the stop line and I was
in his view had he but looked right.

Motorcyclist's fault?

Pretty irrelevant, compared to 'avoid the accident'.

And just how was I supposed to do that? Not ride at all I guess would
do it.

Beats me - I wasn't there. My point stands. It does not
direct blame, it says 'the blame is a secondary issue'.

I suspect that that somehow makes sense to you. Not sure that I care
to hear what sense though.

Good, because I'm fairly sure I can't be bothered explaining
it to you.
