… Here is an information I heard about :

The Olive tree Route – motorbike tour…

An international meeting of riders (63rd IMF rally 2008) in Pylos (Peloponese – Greece) !

Peloponese Olympiad.

7th – 13 th July

The organizors guarantee to everyone a pleasant stay in one of the most beautiful greek regions as well as many surprises !
Beach parties, tasting the mediterranean cuisine, discovering the local specialities, sports and leisure, photos exhibitions about « The olive tree route », concerts of modern and traditional music, with the feature of diverse blend of music : oriental, occidental, meditarranean…
For the riders’ pleasure and the promotion of Messinia.
Also, escapades to natural sites of exception, such as the Neda Valley Waterfalls, the atypical region of Mani, Polymnio, Neda and the central Messinia that is also called «The gods’ sacred place. »
Excursions to the famous archeological sites of Olympia, the Olympic Games’ cradle and the Ancient Messinia, one of the best preserved ancient city in Greece…
And strolls by night in the cosmopolitan city of Kalamata.

Cost : 180 euros per person ONLY (fullboard accomodation in an oceanfront campground and entry fees to many events organized on this occasion.
