After having it sitting under the banch for the best part of 5 years,
decided it was time to fit it, 3 broken rings and the thrust bearking fitted
to number 3 instead of number 4T. Farking going to cost me a few bucks extra
for a cheap headjob.

At least it'll be used soon lemmi

I'd be guessing a large tin shed and a lot of home-brew went into that

There's the first mistake. A proper shed has brick walls, an insulated roof,
an airconditioner at one end, and a pot-bellied stove at the other. Later on
you can install the 20 power points, the stereo, the fridge, and a few
tools.

How can a tin shed be made of bricks? Or is that how they do it in
Dutchland?

Indeed I do! All up that will have been floating around for over 10
years. Glad to see it's finally getting put to use, I would never
have gotten around to it. The Max Ellery manual is probably a classic
by now.

I bought a tin shed minus the tin for the walls. Smile

Reciept says it was done in 1998. Doing rings and bearings as well.
Hopefully everything meets specs and I don't have to machine bits. 40 thou
over in the bores already. Bloody thing had 3 broken top rings. Hopefully
thats just from not being started for years at a time, no marks on the
bores.

Ah there you go then (mind like a sieve and a face to match). Bet it
runs nicer with a decent ring seal!

Now that is a mental picture that will take some serious long term therapy
to get over.
