In 07 there were no longer carburetor bikes made from Harley. All model
lines are now FI.
It cost more to flash a new map in FI than it does to change out a couple
jets in a carburetor. And it is way more to put on a power commander or race
tuner. Especially if you have it dyno tuned.
There have been some locals taking of FI and putting on Carburetors. I'd be
the same way. I've never had a issue with my carburetor, and I know there
are some that say the same about their FI. So its just a matter of $ now or
$ later. Sooner or later FI is going to cost! If your mechanically stupid
like my friend and can't run a inrichner LOL than go FI. He's the only one
of the several Carbs I've modified that just can't seem to get the inrichner
down! He, is,,,,,dumber than dumb!!!
