Today a friend gave me his 85 Yamaha after buying a new bike! He says
it ran perfectly up until a year or so ago when he stored it. At this
moment I am charging the battery. He says it fires up when starting -
but then quits. He did some preliminary cleaning out fuel lines/filter
but did not get to all of it due to some tight spots. Spark plugs look
good. Suspect some sludge clogging things up somewhere. Any ideas where
to look or perhaps what procedure I can follow to getting this guy back
on the road again? Thanks in advance - Bill
