All,
I just purchased this bike, and it runs great. It will be a great
tool-around-towner and a nice over-the-roader as well. The only problem
that I am having with it is with the fuse holders. The clips on two of the
fuse holders have broken. I've rigged something to keep them in place for
the time being, but would like to replace them.
This is probably a stupid question, but bear with me - I'm not the most
mechanically inclined fella you'll ever meet. Can these be replaced with
clips purchased at Radio Shack or something? Again, I'm not the most
mechanically oriented man on the planet, but that seemed way too easy...
Thoughts???
Thanks in advance for your patience!
Tom...

you could tack the holders down with a little clear
silicone. let it dry overnight.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ --> >> Stay informed about: 1982 Seca 750 |

Thanks for the quick reply - the problem is that the silly prongs that hold
the fuses are broken. That's the part that needs replaced. Any reason why
I wouldn't be able to find something? Any thoughts on where?

Check radio shack if you have one near you. You should be able to find
something even if it is a new fuse block.

you could use standard line fuse holders from any auto
store.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ --> >> Stay informed about: 1982 Seca 750 |

Thanks for all the support - I actually went to Radio Shack and bought a
standard 4 fuse holder and two packs of blade connectors. It replaced
everything (though not quite as nicely as the box listed in this thread) in
about an hour. Works fine - and cost less than $10. Now to fashion some
type of protective cover...
