FS: 1979 Honda CB750F SuperSport

Welp, it times to sell my lil project bike.. i had it on the street last
year, decided to take the engine off the frame and clean up the whole bike
over the winter.. I started putting it all back together but it's still not
done.. the engine is on the frame most of the way, the body is still off as
well as the lights, fairing etc. Anyway its a 1979 Honda CB750F Super Sport.
rims are in GREAT condition, tires are VERY new, has open K&Ns with jet kit,
ProSport 4-to-1 exhaust (rusty but can be cleaned up).. The bike ran great ,
but the cam chain tensioner got stuck and allowed the chain to flop around
making a crack in the head. I patched it with JD weld and got the tensioner
to unstick, but eventually the head will need to be fixed properly. I have
extra parts for it including a replacement used head, extra set of carbs
(not complete). extra jets, etc.. Sounds AWESOME when it is running. I got a
picture of it when it was together if someone is interested. I am located in
the Saugerties New York area.. email me if you are interested in it.. make
me an offer.It's a great project bike, and sounds great, looks need work but
it'll be worth it.. not much left to finish ... some wires to hookup, more
bolts to put in and the electrics need to be installed (battery, solenoid,
etc ,etc) and it will be DONE. I got another bike to ride right now and want
to get something to ride in the dirt. trades considered. email me at

If it's that close to being perfect, you would be wise to finish it up
and ask a lot more for it. 1979 model, you say? Have the nylon
swingarm bushings been replaced with real bearings yet? That was about
the biggest problem the 79 model had.
