I'm trying to id this motorcycle. The tail light list 1972, but I'm unsure if
that is the right year. Does anyone know where the id plate might be located.

Also would like to find out the motor size. It's a small bike. Has a high
dirt-bike type front fender, motor is single large jug maybe between a 90 -
175cc.

The side decal on the tank is "AMF Harley-Davidson".

Thanks

Wide curved tailpipe high on the left side, drum brakes? That would be an SS- or
SX-125, 175, or 250 actually made in Italy for Harley-Davidson. If it's a 90 then
it's an X90 or Z90

This site includes the little guys too. I'd say look around
the engine and frame until you see a string of numbers that
works out to something listed. Good luck.

Thanks for the info. Yes it has the wide curved tailpipe high on the left side,
and both front and back drum brakes. The VIN number web site will be helpful
when I do locate the VIN. The lady I got it from is looking for the title.
