1. Cuz that's where the headset speakers are.
2. A place to showcase your "My kid made the honor roll" sticker.
3. Not if, but WHEN you flip off an idiot car driver, they can't see
who it is.
4. Doing the requisite "head butt" with an old Frat Brother doesn't
hurt as much.
5. So you can talk back to the drive thru window in the same clarity
they talk to you.
6. Someplace to put your gloves when you're not riding.
7. With the smoked shield down, no one can see you picking your nose.
8. Scare little kids with your Darth Vader impression.
9. Just might get you a seat on the "short bus" to school.
10. Keeps your hair dry in the car wash.

well, more that it holds the earplug/speakers in but yeah what you said.

 > 2. A place to showcase your "My kid made the honor roll" sticker.

I have a "Caution Spontaniously Combutsible 4" sticker.

 > 3. Not if, but WHEN you flip off an idiot car driver, they can't see

I don't worry about that part...I flip off the ones that need it.

lol, no frat brat here but...

That and I LOVE the look on their faces when I pull up to the window.

 > 6. Someplace to put your gloves when you're not riding.

Quiet looking in my helmet please...you'll scare the rat.

 > 7. With the smoked shield down, no one can see you picking your nose.

Not that I'd care if they watch.

 > 8. Scare little kids with your Darth Vader impression.

That is fun isn't it?

 > 9. Just might get you a seat on the "short bus" to school.

HA! If I wanted that I'd just sit next to our youngest.

 > 10. Keeps your hair dry in the car wash.

Yep sure does...BTDT oh and it's a GREAT way to see how water proof the rest of your gear is.

These are also the same ten reasons to NOT wear a helmet.

Cites please? While I respect people right to not wear a helmet or use other safety
equipment...not using them is just plane stupid. I've heard exactly ONE reason to not wear one.
That would be degenerative joint disease in the spine. Anything else is B.S. and disingenuous.

Borrow a dollar to buy a sense of humor.
I'll spell it out for you.

1. Cuz that's where the headset speakers are.
You seem to deprecate those who flaunt the debatable safety gain of a helmet
as idiots, yet claim to support their right to choose in the same breath,
isn't music dangerous too?
2. A place to showcase your "My kid made the honor roll" sticker.
Get over it, even the dummys get one.
3. Not if, but WHEN you flip off an idiot car driver, they can't see
who it is.
What's the point of flipping someone off, if they can't see who it is?
Unless you are a coward.
4. Doing the requisite "head butt" with an old Frat Brother doesn't
hurt as much.
Pass on that one.
5. So you can talk back to the drive thru window in the same clarity
they talk to you.
Most won't serve a bike at the drive thru
6. Someplace to put your gloves when you're not riding.
Pockets?
7. With the smoked shield down, no one can see you picking your nose.
You shouldn't do that in public anyway.
8. Scare little kids with your Darth Vader impression.
OK, That is fun.
9. Just might get you a seat on the "short bus" to school.
If youy are on this board, you qualify
10. Keeps your hair dry in the car wash.
I have no hair.
